Over the years, Slenker Communities has earned a reputation for planning and developing exceptional communities. The secret to our success is our “Imagineering Process”.

While many developers focus on maximizing the number of homes in a community, Slenker Communities has a different approach. We sculpt our neighborhood designs within the forests, hills, and stream sites first, creating the parks, walking trails, waterside viewing areas, nature preserves and sitting areas. Then we fit the houses into the preserved paradise. This is what Slenker Communities calls a “livable neighborhood.”

We study the community’s history and its progress through the years. We research the architectural styles and look for inspiration in common themes, patterns, and colors. We work with naturalists and arborists to protect the fragile environmental areas and establish nature preserves and bird sanctuaries. We visit the available amenities in the surrounding community and see what we could offer that would enhance the area’s quality of life. Only after we have considered these, and numerous other questions, will Slenker Communities begin our “Imagineering Process."

Armed with this detailed knowledge, we then explore a multitude of options to craft a neighborhood that will complement the surrounding community. This process takes many months and requires a considerable investment, but we believe that it is the only way to design an exceptional community!
